How We Maintain Gluten Free Safety at GlutenFreePastries.com
Here are the procedures we follow in our Gluten Free kitchen in order to help protect the integrity of our products.
1. Dedicated Gluten-Free Kitchen
All gluten free items are baked and packaged in a separate room on a different floor, behind a closed door.
This room contains its own set of gluten free only equipment: pans, utensils, mixers, ovens, a dishwasher, a bread slicer, and a microwave.
2. Controlled Workflow
Items do not leave the Gluten Free kitchen until they are individually packaged and packed for shipping.
Gluten Free staff only work in the Gluten Free kitchen and do not switch departments.
Non-Gluten Free staff do not enter the gluten free space.
3. Tracking & Consistency
Every batch is recorded and lot-coded, allowing us to trace any issue back to its source.
Codes appear on every label so customers always receive a clearly tracked product.
4. Freshness You Can Taste
We bake in small batches, no larger than 50 pounds.
Products are packaged immediately and then frozen to preserve freshness and quality until they reach you.
